Types of Counseling

Individual counseling works with issues such as family, relationships, career concerns, depression, and anxiety in a one-to-one setting.

Couples Counseling helps couples with relationship issues such as communication, intimacy, and trust. LGBTQ relationships welcome.

Family Counseling helps with the concerns of a group of people who care about each other.

DBT, or Dialectical Behavior Therapy, is affective in treating BPD, anxiety, and PTSD.  We offer the individual sessions for this style of therapy in my office.  Please let us know if you feel that this therapy style may be helpful for you.

EMDR, or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, can help with trauma and PTSD. Please read our information page on this and let us know if you would like to give it a try.

Hypnotherapy can be a very effective method to help with many issues.  If hypnotherapy is right for you, your therapist will offer to record the session so that you will be able to use it even after leaving the session.

The fee for a 50-minute psychotherapy visit (in-person or via telehealth) is $50.00.  Payment is requested at the time services are rendered and may be made with cash, credit, or debit card. You will not be seen by your therapist if you are three or more sessions behind in payment unless a prior arrangement has been made with your therapist.

Most clients will attend one therapy visit per week, but the frequency of therapy visits that are appropriate in your case may be more or less than once per week, depending upon your needs. Based upon a fee of $50.00 per visit, if you attend one therapy visit per week, your estimated charge would be $200.00 for four visits provided over the course of one month; $400.00 for eight visits over two months; or $600.00 for 12 visits over three months.  If you attend therapy for a longer period, your total estimated charges will increase according to the number of visits and length of treatment.

The fee for a 50-minute EMDR visit (in-person or via telehealth) is $75.00.  Payment is requested at the time services are rendered and may be made with cash, credit, or debit card. You will not be seen by your therapist if you are three or more sessions behind in payment unless a prior arrangement has been made with your therapist.
